ICSE Schools in Yelahanka, North Bangalore

Seshadripuram Public School is one of the Best ICSE schools in Yelahanka, North Bangalore. The school is in the city but away from the hustle and bustle. It’s been affiliated to CISCE, KA122 since 2002-2003. It’s a co-ed school from Montessori to Grade XII.

Kids join us as toddlers and leave as young adults. Their time at school shapes their personality and potential. The primary school years are very important. By 11, kids learn to read, understand numbers and quantities. But they should also love reading, be interested in numbers and enjoy finding answers.

At SPS Yelahanka, we believe that a successful child is one who wants to learn. We think exploration is the best way to learn. Kids learn about nature by growing plants or bird watching; they understand math by measuring and estimating; they develop language skills through storytelling, reading and writing stories and poems; they discover the joy of music by singing and listening to music. They learn about other cultures through stories and projects.

We want to instill a sense of community, justice, and fair play in kids. We let them learn and express themselves in ways they enjoy the most. We encourage them to apply their learning to different situations to reach their full potential.

As kids grow older, they start understanding the world better. They learn about the good and bad sides of science; they study social institutions for their successes and failures; literature becomes more than just stories. They debate convictions, learn math techniques. They remember characters who struggle and win. The aim of our curriculum is to develop character. By making friends or playing as a team, our kids learn to love and trust. They learn to accept others’ views by appreciating cultural diversity. Through math and science, they learn logical thinking. By setting goals for themselves, they learn that hard work is as important as talent and skill.

We try to create an environment where learning happens naturally out of interest and curiosity. We try to spark the child’s imagination with nature giving them the chance to express their own thoughts and feelings too. This helps reduce frustration and anger.
