Inspire Award Manak - 2021
INSPIRE awards - MANAK,Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology,Government of India.
Deeksha A of Grade VIII and Akshay J of Grade VI had participated in the INSPIRE awards scheme and were awarded a cash prize of Rs.10,000/- each on 13th Jan 2021.Their innovative ideas in the form of working Science models have been short-listed amongst 1,00,000 best ideas across India for State Level Exhibition and Project Competition. They were Awarded with Certificates on 26th Jan 2021.



Environment care (SUPW)
Socially Useful Productive Work




This will be taken to mean work practice in a main or subsidiary craft. In contrast to community service it implies the making of articles of social use or the practice of a skill.
The areas of assessment of Socially Useful Productive work may be classified as follows:
It is important to select a craft which is socially useful and within the candidates' capabilities. It may be necessary to visit localities where certain crafts are practiced and note details of the processes or methods involved.
The candidates should be able to explain in writing, the tools, materials and processes required as well as draw up a timetable/ programme of work.
The manual skills of the candidates should be assessed regularly and from the finished product(s) and include the candidates' abilities to follow processes/ methods of the craft.
This is the candidates' ability to analyse a process or method and suggest/ implement improvements and also to improvise wherever necessary.
This is an assessment of candidates' industriousness, constancy and conscientiousness with regard to the work undertaken. The candidates should be able to adhere to the timetable/ programme of work drawn up by them.
Investiture Ceremony
Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion where all the young students are prepared to do the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.


Educational trip
An Educational tour to new places is not just a fun get-away. It is about exploring new environments and culture.


MUN (Model of United Nations)
It is also known as Model of United Nations which is an Educational Simulation and academic activity in which students can learn about diplomacy international relations, debates and discuses.
Students are put under different committees and they represent themselves as delegates of different nations where they take up the real world or international issues for discussion.
They also learn how international problems or tensions could be solved through negotiations too.
Students develop confidence and leadership skills through experience. Model of United Nations Conferences are opportunities to practice research, public speaking, team work, negotiation and writing skills in a safe and structured environment.


Road Safety Program
3M young change agents[y-cars] for road safety program is conducted every year for students of class 8th, 9th and 10th. Road safety education shows the possible dangers and risks involved, explain ways to keep them safe and develop their skills in understanding consequences on the road.




ANNUAL EXHIBITION
S.A.M.E- Science, Art, Mathematics Exhibition.
The Annual Exhibition is organized by the school every year. It focuses on ingraining a scientific and creative attitude in our young students to make them comprehend the interdependence of science, technology, mathematics, art and society by a hands-on experience. The exhibition helps to engage children and teachers to synergize experiences and motivate each other to design and develop something novel. Hundreds of displays dot several sections of School with participation ranging from classes 1 to 9. Each corridor becomes a celebration of various subjects including English, Hindi and Kannada. Little scientists and artists enthusiastically beckon visitors to stop by and visit their displays.
