A typical day in Montessori begins with a prayer and group activity is conducted on general topics. The day then continues with the children going about their work choosing the material of interest from Exercise of Practical Life, Sensorial Language or Arithmetic. Importance is also given to the child’s written work according to the daily plan. The session ends with stories and rhymes.
